So what is a characteristic that all leaders share?  Probably nothing!  However, from Dr. Michelli’s perspective most great leaders consistently demonstrate optimism.   Not blind naivete but optimism — maybe even too much optimism.  They are by his estimation too positive and thats a good thing.
